Your Capacity Is a Gift

Feb 23, 2026

February 23, 2026 • Waxing Crescent • Light returning, revealing the depth you can hold

Dear Beautiful,

I hope this lunar letter finds you well and attuned to your heart's messages. The moon is waxing now. The light is slowly returning. This phase is subtle. Not the intensity of the full moon. Not the emptiness of the dark. Just enough illumination to begin seeing what is still alive within you.

Yesterday, I was reminded of something important about capacity. As sensory intelligent women, we do not love lightly. We do not feel halfway. We experience connection in depth - emotional depth, sensual depth, spiritual depth. And when something ends, the absence is also felt in depth.

The same nervous system that allows for profound intimacy also registers profound ache. That is not weakness. It is capacity.

Capacity to love deeply. Capacity to grieve honestly. Capacity to hold beauty and pain in the same memory.

The waxing crescent invites us to notice what is still tender without rushing to resolve it. To acknowledge what shaped us without needing to reopen every conversation. Some women have the option to speak with a former partner, friend, family member. Some do not. Either way, the deeper work happens inside the body.

This is where support matters. You are not meant to process the full range of your emotional capacity alone.

If your depth has ever felt like "too much" in relationships... If your ache lingers longer than others seem to understand... If you've questioned whether you feel too deeply... I want you to know that your depth is intelligence. And it deserves to be witnessed in a space that feels safe.

This is why I create circles. Spaces for sensory intelligent women to gather without needing to shrink their capacity.

Sensitive & Strong: The Re-Align Circle for Women in their 20s begins March 3. I’m also feeling into circles for women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s - because depth looks different in each decade, but it never disappears.

If something within you is asking for steadier support, you’re welcome here. Waxing crescent light doesn’t demand clarity. It simply asks you to notice what is growing.

Your capacity is not the problem. It is the gift. Not everyone will understand or appreciate it, but it is a gift worth honoring. I am deeply honored to offer spaces where you can come home to that fullness.

Last Week's Conversation For Sensitive Souls

If you'd like to hear more about science, sensitivity and soul the weekly episode of Rise & Realign: Conversations for the Sensitive Soul, Episode 16: The Sensitive Woman With Spark is live.

A Moment to Pause | A Space to Inquire

Qestions might surface about sensory intelligence, about patterns that keep returning, about what it might look like to live with more alignment and less self-override.

So on March 5th, I’m hosting another live, free gathering. A spacious, heart-centered Q&A where sensory intelligent women are welcome to pause, release the bracing, ask questions, and explore what support might feel right for them in this season.

There is no pressure to join anything. This is simply a place to be present, to explore, and to sense whether one of The Re-Align Circles or The Re-Aligned Journey, beginning at the spring equinox, feels like an aligned next step for you.

Closing Blessing

May this waxing crescent remind you that growth does not require force. May the light returning help you see your capacity with gentleness rather than doubt. May what is still tender be honored as evidence of how deeply you are able to love.

As this new cycle unfolds, may you trust that your depth is not excessive. It is expansive. May you allow your heart to open without bracing for what might hurt. May you remember that your capacity is sacred.

You do not need to shrink to be safe. You are allowed to grow into the fullness of who you are.

I’d love to know what this moment is clarifying for you. You’re always welcome to reply and share what you’re noticing.✨

If this reflection felt supportive, feel free to pass it along to another sensitive woman who may need the same reminder today.

We rise together when we pause, breathe, and realign with love.

With moon and heart,

Melissa

You can hear the birds singing in the background.
