Learning to Settle Again

Dear Beautiful,

The other morning, as I stood barefoot on the earth, a dragonfly hovered and landed on a bush near me. This lit me up as it wasn’t our first encounter. The dragonfly has crossed my path frequently over the past few months, always in moments when I was learning the same lesson: that movement and stillness belong to one rhythm.

I witnessed how it startles, then settles - a quiet reflection of how the sensitive nervous system learns to return to calm.

This weekend, as we return to Standard Time and the evenings arrive sooner, the Restorative Moon invites the same remembrance - to slow, soften, and return to natural rhythm.

Sensitive women often feel this shift deeply: the pull toward warmth, rest, and the safety of quiet evenings. This isn’t regression; it’s rhythm.

Heart Practice: The Breath That Says "I'm Here."

  1. Inhale gently through the nose.
  2. Take a second, smaller sip of air to top it off.
  3. Exhale slowly through the mouth with a soft sigh.
  4. Whisper, “I’m here.”

Notice the quiet after each exhale - your nervous system remembering safety.
